Made two visits and enjoyed everything. Hamburguesa Chipotle, risotto with shrimp and mushrooms, chocolate lava cake, and passionfruit smoothie. Service was good. Prices fair. Reservations advisable if you want to come after 5:30.

One of the best and fancy meals we had in La Fortuna! We ordered Tuna Tartar, Picanha grill platter and a choco lava cake - and everything was spectacular in taste and presentation. The portion sizes were great as well. More than enough for two people.

We stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant at the last minute and decided to give it a try. We were fortunate enough to snag a table for three without a reservation, despite the place being packed. While the service didn’t completely wow us, the food certainly did! We ordered the steak tasting platter and the grilled garlic octopus. Unfortunately, the octopus wasn’t to our liking—it was a bit soggy and lacked the texture we were hoping for. However, the charcoal-grilled steak was absolutely fantastic—truly a highlight.What we loved about the place was that they let you choose your sides (many choices!) and sauce. The chimichurri sauce was addictive, pairing perfectly with the different cuts of steak. A big bonus? Guacamole was one of the side options—how amazing is that?!The lava cake definitely lived up to the hype, just as other reviews promised. We made the mistake of ordering only one to share, but we quickly ordered a second—it was that good! It completely exceeded our high expectations.Overall, this was one of the best meals we had in Costa Rica. It's definitely worth the visit, and I highly recommend making a reservation if you can. Our only regret is that we don’t have a restaurant like this back home. The quality of the meat is absolutely worth the price.

Everything was perfect. From the ambiance, to the service, to the meal! Best culinary experience we’ve had in La Fortuna. It is good to try local food at lunch time in Soda, but if you are looking for a place to have a nice diner, this is the place to come.Try to reserve if you can as this restaurant is very popular.

The Food was amazing. We came back a second day for more. A lot of flavor! For any black ppl worried about flavor, you’re in good hands I got you lol. Come on down! Our waiter Jeremy was awesome!! Give him a raise expeditiously!

Amazing meal at this lovely restaurant. Food was tasty, staff were friendly and attentive, the ambience was great and really reasonably priced. Plus very good sangria! Highly recommend for a nice meal in La Fortuna.

Highly recommend making reservations! We were lucky to get in, and we’re so glad we did. The entire meal was incredible, with the New York steak being the best we’ve had in all of Costa Rica and the fresh sea bass perfectly prepared. Don’t leave without trying the lava cake—it’s an absolute must-have.The food was phenomenal, the staff were lovely, and the ambiance was small, romantic, and charming.

Wow! Each course was amazing! We did not have a reservation but were on time and lucky to get one of the last free tables (i recommend to reserve beforehand, we saw so many people turned away as it was full). And we understand why. Amazing food, big portions, great service and just a lovely evening out!
